# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • They come together in under an hour with ingredients you probably already have tucked away in your kitchen
  • The combination of tender chicken and savory sausage creates a flavor thats way more interesting than plain sausage balls
  • They reheat beautifully so you can make them ahead and still serve them hot and golden
  • Even picky eaters who claim they dont like mixed dishes will reach for seconds
02 -
  • Dont skip using your hands to mix, a spoon wont incorporate the sausage evenly and youll end up with some balls that are all chicken and others that are all sausage
  • If your mixture feels too dry and wont hold together, add milk one tablespoon at a time until it just comes together
  • Make sure your sausage is truly raw when you add it, pre-cooked sausage wont bind the mixture and theyll fall apart in the oven
03 -
  • Wet your hands lightly before rolling each ball to keep the mixture from sticking to your palms and making a mess
  • Use a cookie scoop to keep them all the same size so they bake evenly and look uniform on the platter
  • If youre making them ahead, underbake them by about three minutes, then finish them off when you reheat so they stay moist inside
