# What You'll Need:

→ Dip

01 - 1 cup cottage cheese (240 g), full-fat or low-fat
02 - 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (20 g)
03 - 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey (60 ml)
04 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (20 g), plus extra for garnish
06 - Pinch of salt

→ Fruit Dippers

07 - 1 cup strawberries (150 g), hulled and halved
08 - 1 cup apple slices (150 g)
09 - 1 cup banana slices (150 g)
10 - 1 cup seedless grapes (150 g)

# How to Make It:

01 - In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt. Blend until very smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
02 - Transfer the dip to a bowl and stir in the mini chocolate chips, reserving a few for garnish.
03 - Top the dip with reserved extra chocolate chips if desired.
04 - Arrange the prepared fruit dippers on a platter or around the dip bowl.
05 - Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate for up to 2 days before serving.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • It tastes like pure indulgence while delivering real protein that keeps you satisfied.
  • No baking required means you can make it in the time it takes to brew coffee.
  • Cottage cheese becomes completely undetectable, transforming into silky chocolate cream.
02 -
  • Over-blending actually works in your favor here because the longer you blend cottage cheese, the silkier it becomes, so don't be shy about giving it a full minute or more.
  • The sweetness level matters hugely; I learned this by making it once for people with different preferences, and now I always taste a tiny spoonful and adjust the maple syrup before calling it done.
03 -
  • If your dip seems too thick after refrigerating, stir in a tablespoon of milk to loosen it back to dipping consistency.
  • Make this up to two days ahead so you can spend time with guests instead of finishing prep in the kitchen.
