Slow Cooker Baked Ziti (Print Version)

Hearty baked ziti layered with cheese and sauce, slow-cooked for tender, melty results.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pasta

01 - 1 lb uncooked ziti pasta

→ Sauce & Cheese

02 - 24 fl oz marinara sauce
03 - 2 cups ricotta cheese
04 - 3 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

# How to Make It:

01 - Spray the interior of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
02 - Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of the slow cooker.
03 - Distribute half of the uncooked ziti pasta over the marinara sauce layer.
04 - Dollop and gently spread half of the ricotta cheese across the pasta layer.
05 - Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the ricotta layer.
06 - Pour half of the remaining marinara sauce atop the cheese layer.
07 - Repeat layering with the remaining pasta, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and marinara sauce.
08 - Top with any remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese to finish.
09 - Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours until pasta is tender and cheese melts, forming a bubbly surface.
10 - Let the dish rest for 10 minutes to allow for easier slicing and serving.
